Your Story Is Worth Protecting Banner

Do you expect your employees to use a Fire Extinguisher in the workplace?

Are you aware that you are Required to offer them annual training at the workplace?

How many of your employees ever used a Fire Extinguisher?

Our Risk Management Director, Brian Crebs, was recently out on a job site at 6am working and sharing strategies on Fire Extinguishing training.  Yes, your read that correctly, 6am! Brian was onsite before the crack of dawn to work with an organization on the proper way(s) to extinguish a fire.  And note how he was there on their time that works best to their schedule.  This is nothing new to Brian – he works around the schedule of clients to meet their needs so not to impact the work production.

October is National Fire Prevention Month! Both OSHA and the National Fire Protection Association publish regulations and guideline on responding to emergencies in the workplace.

Who is actually out working with your employees on this life saving skill like Brian is doing right here?

A Risk Management Director plays an important role in the insurance industry and within organizations that rely on the proper insurance coverage.  A Risk Manager’s primary responsibility is to identify, assess and manage risks associated with insurance policies and claims.  Additionally, having an individual who understands the complexity of regulatory compliance and is hands on directly with employees is a critical asset to any business and organization.
