What do you get when you mix dirt, water, over 17 intense obstacles, and the unstoppable spirit of hundreds of women? You get the Mud Girl Run—a nationwide event that’s as empowering as it is muddy!
We’re incredibly proud to spotlight two amazing women from Miers Insurance who tackled the challenge head-on: Joanne Gianopulos, our exceptional Operations and HR Manager, and Melissa Phillips, one of our outstanding Personal Insurance Account Managers.
From climbing over barriers and crawling through mud pits to wading waist-deep in water (with smiles intact!), Joanne and Melissa didn’t just participate—they finished strong.
This event wasn’t just about pushing personal limits. The Mud Girl Run also supports the Pink Army Foundation, helping raise awareness and funds for the fight against breast cancer. It’s a reminder that behind every muddy footprint is a story of strength, solidarity, and purpose.
After the finish line and a well-earned rinse, these two returned to the office proudly sporting their medals—and probably still finding mud in unexpected places.
